At some point over the last few months I mentioned in my blog how I feel that employers and potential employers do not have the right to ask for passwords to social media sites and email. FINALLY, there is something being done to protect our rights. Legislation has been brought up that would make illegal for anyone to ask for passwords. Yes, we need to be more aware of our online image, but in no way should potential employers be able to go on to our private sites if we have them setup out of the public eye to view our site before making a hiring decision.
